About Seth

Seth is a clinical therapist and the founder of Compass to Hope Counseling LLC. He’s a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and board-certified clinical supervisor in the state of Arizona. His degrees include a bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry from Arizona Christian University and a master’s degree in professional counseling from Grand Canyon University.

Seth has experience working in both community-based mental health and private practice settings. He has worked with people from a wide variety of different backgrounds and demographics struggling with trauma, grief, anxiety, insecure attachment styles, depression, and life transitions.

Seth works from a existential theoretical orientation utilizing a person-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach. He is fully trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, an evidence-based therapy for trauma-processing) and utilizes other therapy modalities and interventions as needed to support his clients.

I accept Aetna, Cigna, Optum, or private pay. I also offer a reduced rate for military and veterans.

Gentle, trauma-informed approach to help you process through difficult experiences, build your resiliency, and renew your sense of safety. EMDR available.

Anxiety Management

Evidence-based techniques to reduce anxiety, manage stress, and develop healthy coping mechanisms to remain in the present.

Depression Treatment

Compassionate support and effective strategies to help you move through the lows of life and rediscover joy.

Grief Support

Compassionate presence and gentle guidance through the grieving process, helping you navigate loss and significant life changes.

Life Transitions

Support during major life changes such as career shifts, relocation, retirement, or other significant adjustments that require adaptation.

Attachment

Provide understanding of attachment styles to help transform relational patterns to build more secure, fulfilling connections.

Seth is contracted with PSCS (Public Safety Crisis Solutions). PSCS utilizes the Craig Tiger Act. After going to PSCS directly, first responders can request Seth as a contracted therapist.
